The pearl reactive cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. Comparing the Wrath XP with the Storm Tropical Surge, the glaring differences in backend reaction stand out immediately. The Storm Tropical Surge tends to read a bit earlier, while the Wrath XP holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then reacts noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That trait makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Tropical Surge starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls are aimed at lighter oil patterns, the Wrath XP offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. This ball shows its greatest strength once the lane has been played on a bit and transition has clearly set in.
