The Sublime Focus from 900 Global is a symmetrical bowling ball developed specifically for medium to heavily oiled lanes. This new model builds on the success of the original Sublime and pairs the Immersed Symmetric A.I. Core with the new Reserve Blend 804 Solid Reactive coverstock. With a low 2.47 RG and a 0.056 differential (at 15 lbs), the core delivers a smooth, powerful motion through the pins. The coverstock comes with a 2000-grit Abralon surface, which should provide optimal traction and control. The striking Xanthic/Indigo/Black color scheme with the eye-catching pink logo makes the ball a head-turner not just technically but visually as well. Flare potential is rated medium to high, which points to a good balance between control and power. According to the manufacturer, the Reserve Blend 804 Solid coverstock allows for versatile performance on nearly all lane conditions. Comparison
In a direct comparison with the Storm Phase II, often considered the benchmark among symmetrical balls, the Sublime Focus shows clearly stronger hook potential. Compared to the asymmetrical 900 Global Ion Max, the Sublime Focus shows a more continuous hook pattern with less of a "hook-stop" effect, which should result in a smoother ball motion.

Its strength lies in the combination of an early, controllable reaction and continuous motion through the pins. It can really show what it's capable of on fresh, oil-heavy lanes or longer patterns. For tweener-style bowlers who struggle with high oil volumes, the Sublime Focus could be a good choice. It cuts through the oil effectively and lets you keep the angles out in front of you. Tournament players with a deep understanding of ball motion in particular should be able to unlock this ball's full potential. One special characteristic of the Sublime Focus is its ability to show unexpectedly good continuation despite an early roll — even on shots where the ball already appears to have rolled out. This trait causes the pins to fall more to the left and right rather than straight back, which can improve carry potential. Consistency is another key feature of the Sublime Focus. After a short break-in phase, the ball shows a predictable, even motion on the lane. The ball can also be adapted to different styles and lane conditions with adjustments such as polish or high-grit Abralon pads.
