First Impressions
The Storm Wipe Out shows up in a striking Black and Yellow Solid color blend. At the heart of this model beats the proven symmetric Turbine Core, which carries a high 2.550 RG and a moderate 0.038 differential. The outer layer consists of the R2S Solid Reactive coverstock, lightly dulled out of the box with a 3000 grit Abralon finish. This combination of a late-rolling core and a slightly rough solid shell should let the ball get through the fronts safely and generate a very smooth, hard-hitting motion in the midlane.

Comparison
Compared to the Storm Punch Out with its pearl cover, the Wipe Out offers a noticeably shorter skid phase and a far more continuous, extremely arcing reaction at the breakpoint. Against the Storm IQ Tour Solid, the Turbine core produces a somewhat flatter change of direction. Once transition sets in and the lane builds up uneven friction, the Wipe Out benefits enormously from its solid dynamics. It uses the dry areas excellently without jumping off them.

On the Lanes
The Storm Wipe Out is best suited to lane conditions with medium oil volume. Strokers and tweeners get the option to play the boards flexibly from direct angles, since the surface minimizes unexpected reactions and finds a hold in the backend. The steady drive toward the pocket should deliver reliable carry. As soon as the lane gets extremely wet, however, the core can make the ball grab too weakly and come in flat.
