First Impressions
The Ebonite Warrior brings a striking black and bronze solid design to the lane. Inside works the hefty asymmetric Iron Fist core with a 2.470 RG, a massive 0.057 differential and a 0.014 intermediate differential. The cover is the GB 13.3 solid reactive coverstock, brought to an extremely tacky texture out of the box with a 500 and 2000 Abralon finish. Thanks to the low RG and the massive differential, the ball barely skids through the front part of the lane and instead digs in extremely early to generate maximum traction.
Comparison
Comparing the Warrior with the Ebonite Warrior Elite, the original Warrior shows drastically more traction and a far earlier overall reaction in heavy oil. Against a ball like the Storm Alpha Crux, the Warrior's strong differential delivers a very similar, massive and steady asymmetric hook. Once the transition changes the lane and friction increases, the Warrior's aggressive surface burns up energy extremely quickly. It works very well on massive oil volumes.
On the Lanes
The Ebonite Warrior is most at home on the heaviest lane conditions. It's an outstanding option if you're looking for a reliable and extremely strong ball motion. The asymmetric core creates an absolutely predictable, heavy motion, which builds confidence when playing direct lines in heavy oil. The ball should ensure that carry is secured through a consistent, powerful entry into the pocket. On dried-up patterns it will inevitably miss the pins.
