These core numbers are designed to combine controlled forward motion with a well-measured, predictable flare potential. Wrapped around this core is a special particle cover. Out of the box, this surface gets a very coarse, dull 800-grit finish, giving the ball an extremely tacky, matte texture. This specific combination of a stable symmetrical core and a heavily sanded particle surface is tuned precisely to cut straight through even large amounts of oil in the heads. The design aims at an even, very early roll phase. On the lane, the Vendetta Particle should build traction quickly and navigate reliably through the important midlane area without reacting to unexpected friction points with uncontrollable jumps. The construction clearly puts the focus on stability and continuous motion toward the pocket.

In a closer comparison, the Dyno-Thane Vendetta Particle positions itself as a highly specialized ball for oily conditions, one that stands noticeably apart from conventional reactive covers thanks to its particle material. Set next to a classic benchmark solid like the Storm Phaze II, the Vendetta Particle shows an even earlier and, above all, smoother reaction to the lane because of the particle additive. Where the Storm Phaze II makes a very pronounced, dynamic change of direction toward the pocket once it leaves the oiled area, the particle cover of the Dyno-Thane model creates a much more arcing, flatter and more continuous shape. Compared with the ball motion of an asymmetrical heavy-oil piece like the Brunswick Defender, the Vendetta Particle with its 0.042 differential breaks noticeably more moderately. That makes it considerably calmer overall and less prone to overreacting on heavily dried-up boards. On the Lanes
In practice, the Dyno-Thane Vendetta Particle is an absolute specialist for medium to heavily oiled lane conditions as well as for freshly laid oil patterns. If you naturally generate significantly higher ball speed, or if you have a rather low rev rate and are desperately looking for a dependable hook on demanding patterns, you'll find this model to be a thoroughly reliable tool. The extremely coarse 800-grit surface it comes with ensures that the ball never slides through ineffectively even in very heavy oil in the heads, instead picking up its forward roll early and securely. Especially in situations with heavy carrydown, where oil is pushed further down the lane over the course of play, the particle material plows through the layer unfazed and holds the line steady. As soon as the lane moves noticeably into transition over the course of a tournament or an intense league night and the front part of the lane dries up, however, this model loses effectiveness rapidly. The very early friction then inevitably causes the ball to use up its rotational energy far too early on the lane. That shows up as a very flat, powerless entry angle into the pins and a massively reduced carry, because the necessary punch at the pin deck is simply missing. In those moments an immediate switch to weaker or polished balls is mandatory, since the Vendetta Particle burns up its energy much too early on medium to dry lanes.
