First Impressions
The Hammer Twisted turns a lot of heads with its bright orange and black solid design. At its center works a symmetric core with a moderate RG and a medium differential. That core is wrapped in a solid reactive coverstock finished with a matte surface. The medium RG lets the core rotate very definitely, which in combination with the tacky surface should let the ball get through the heads effortlessly and produce a steady, arcing move in the backend.

Comparison
Compared directly to the Hammer Viral Solid, the Twisted shows a slightly weaker but far steadier, smoother reaction on the lane. Compared to the Storm Match Solid, the Twisted behaves very similarly, but thanks to the symmetric core it often generates an even slightly rounder backend motion. When the transition sets in over the course of a set and friction on the outside boards increases, the solid cover stores energy steadily. It's an extremely controllable ball for inconsistent patterns.

On the Lanes
The Hammer Twisted was developed for use on light to medium lane conditions. It lets you generate the hook you need even on dried-up conditions to cross the boards effectively. The symmetric core should optimize carry through a steady, heavy and consistent entry angle into the pocket. For extremely heavy oil, however, this ball is not suited; it doesn't use its energy properly and skids too far.
