BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Track Triton Ultra Heat was released in February 2018 as a modern reinterpretation of one of the most legendary ball series in Track's history. Visually, the ball impresses with a deep red pearl surface that suggests plenty of dynamics. Technically, Track relies here on the symmetric Modified Triton core, which was tuned specifically to combine the classic motion of the original Triton series with modern ball technology. With a 2.53 RG and a 0.042 differential at 15 pounds, the core sits in the mid performance segment and promises a controlled but powerful reaction. The cover is the QR-7 Pearl coverstock, finished with 500/1000 Abralon plus an additional Powerhouse Factory Finish Polish to ensure a clean skid phase through the heads.
Comparison Compared to the previous year's Track Heat, the Triton Ultra Heat offers a noticeably stronger move at the breakpoint and more overall hook potential thanks to its modified core and stronger cover. Set against the Storm Hy-Road, the Triton Ultra Heat shows similar versatility, but comes across as somewhat more stable in the midlane and less prone to unpredictable reactions when the oil varies. Against the Brunswick Melee Jab Blood Red, the Triton Ultra Heat offers a slightly rounder continuation through the pins, while the Melee Jab tends to make a more angular change of direction. Compared to high-end asymmetrics like the Track Paradox Red, the Triton Ultra Heat is considerably more controllable and is the better choice once the lanes start to dry up and the bigger balls react too early.
On the Lanes The Track Triton Ultra Heat is an excellent ball for medium oil conditions and shows its strengths above all once the transition on the lane sets in. The polished pearl surface lets it glide effortlessly across the first boards and save its energy for the backend. It is particularly suited to players looking for a predictable yet energetic move to the breakpoint. On typical house shots it makes it possible to hit the pocket consistently without the ball reading too early in the heads. If you throw at moderate ball speed, it offers an outstanding balance between push and hook. In situations where a solid ball creates too much friction and loses its energy before reaching the pins, the Triton Ultra Heat is the ideal solution for optimizing carry and improving the entry angle into the pocket.
