BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the Tribal, Motiv brings a fascinating new development to market that stands out above all for its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic Halogen core, which with a 2.55 RG and a 0.037 differential ensures a very clean motion through the front part of the lane. The Agility 1A Pearl cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The surface makeup with a 5000 grit LSP finish supports this property enormously by letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually the ball is a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later and sharper changes of direction. The technical match between core and cover has been achieved here in an extremely harmonious and purposeful way.
Comparison
Comparing the Tribal to the Motiv Venom Shock, the striking differences in backend reaction are immediately apparent. The Motiv Venom Shock tends to read somewhat earlier, while the Tribal holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then responds noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That property makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Venom Shock starts to lose energy in the pocket or enter too flat. Although both balls are aimed at similar, lighter oil patterns, the Tribal offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It is the ideal solution for situations in which the Venom Shock no longer develops enough drive, since it generates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength once the lane has already been played in a bit and the transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction in the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which delivers maximum, explosive carry. As the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, the ball allows you to move systematically further inside and attack the pocket from a considerably deeper angle. It works excellently on medium to dry conditions and is an excellent choice if you are looking for a clean, quick-responding surface. With its forgiving nature on shots missed to the outside, it should keep your scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
