The coverstock differs noticeably from its Theorem siblings: instead of the HK22 Prime Response material, the Solid gets the stronger HK22C Super Response Solid coverstock with Cohesion additive, known from the Criterion Hybrid. The factory finish is 500/2000 Siaair Micro Pad, which corresponds to a matte surface at 1500 grit. Comparison

The Theorem Solid shows its strengths primarily on medium to heavy oil volumes on medium to longer patterns of any difficulty level. The ball's character calls for angles — playing straight tends to produce inconsistent results, since the ball either reacts too early or, at higher speeds, is left without enough time for the backend reaction. From the third arrow and deeper, the ball's true versatility comes out. In ultra-deep positions it does require adjusted speed and increased rotation, but it then responds very predictably to player adjustments. If you have a higher rev rate, you'll benefit from the clean, round motion, while lower rev rate players still get plenty of backend punch. For slower speeds the ball may well turn out to be too strong — that group of players should consider alternative options. All other rev rate categories should get along well with the Theorem Solid, and even bowlers with higher speed and moderate rev rates still get enough power and motion. Use cases range from first ball out of the bag on fresh, oily conditions to an option later in a session when more hook is needed but the shiny versions would still react too early. On house shot conditions with typical oil patterns in particular, the ball should play to its strengths and represent a reliable choice for league bowlers and tournament players alike. Through its price positioning and performance characteristics, the Theorem Solid establishes itself as an exceptionally versatile option in a hotly contested market segment — a ball that extends the proven qualities of the Theorem line with a solid-specific dimension while combining accessibility with performance ambition.
