The ball uses the proven Rocker + A.I. Core, a symmetrical core with an RG of 2.48 at 15 pounds and a differential of 0.050. The technological update is the NanoStar Pearl coverstock, which ships with Power Edge Polish out of the box and contains a medium concentration of nanoparticles. This combination of materials should offer an interesting balance between clean push through the front part of the lane and controlled reaction to friction in the backend. With its symmetrical construction, the geometry of the Rocker + A.I. Core should allow for a predictable, controlled ball reaction that could work both for more direct lines and for bigger angles. The NanoStar Pearl coverstock differs from classic pearl materials in its reduced nanoparticle content compared to the solid versions, which in theory should produce more length while still providing sufficient midlane presence. Comparison
