Inside works the Ringer Medium RG core, which with a 2.534 RG and a 0.038 differential ensures very clean motion through the front sections of the lane. The CPT Flip Reactive Pearl cover is tuned specifically to store the ball's energy efficiently. The 500 SiaAir / Royal Compound finish supports this trait by letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually the ball is a real eye-catcher, and the makeup immediately conveys that this model was designed for later hooking motion. Comparing the Ringer Platinum Pearl to the Hy-Road Pearl, the differences in backend reaction stand out immediately. The Storm Hy-Road Pearl tends to read a bit earlier, while the Ringer Platinum Pearl holds its energy a fraction longer and then reacts noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That trait makes it the perfect complement when the Hy-Road Pearl starts losing energy in the pocket. Although both balls have a similar orientation, the Ringer Platinum Pearl offers a noticeably more dynamic change of direction.
