The pearl reactive cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The Storm Hy-Road Pearl tends to read a bit earlier, while the Rhino Pro Teal holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then reacts noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That characteristic makes it the perfect complement in the arsenal when the Hy-Road Pearl starts to lose energy in the pocket or enters too flat.
