BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The 900 Global Remaster Honey Badger, released in November 2025 as a special reissue for the international market, brings the iconic "gold look" back to the lanes. It stays true to the technical roots of the original and uses the unique Grapnel 2.0 Asymmetric Core. This core is defined by a very high 2.57 RG and a moderate 0.041 differential (at 15 lbs) — a combination known for extreme length. Wrapped around it is the proven S71 Pearl Reactive coverstock, finished at the factory with a 1500-grit polish. These specs practically scream classic "skid-flip" reaction: effortless glide through the heads and an explosive change of direction at the end of the pattern.
Comparison
Compared directly to the 900 Global Wolverine Dark Moss, the Remaster Honey Badger goes even longer and is noticeably more angular off the backend. Where the Wolverine starts to roll earlier thanks to its lower RG and shows a more controlled midlane presence, the Honey Badger almost completely ignores the midlane in order to save all of its energy for the breakpoint. Against a Storm Hy-Road Pearl, the Honey Badger offers a quicker response to friction and a sharper entry angle by way of its asymmetric core. Compared to the original Honey Badger (or the Revival version), the Remaster offers marginally better durability of reaction thanks to more modern additives in the S71 shell, but stays almost identical to the original in ball motion.
On the Lanes
The Remaster Honey Badger is the ultimate tool for dry to medium oil conditions and beaten-up lanes. Its strength lies in its ability to store energy when the heads are already burned up. It lets you move well left (for right-handers) and throw the ball out over the played-out areas, trusting that it will come back extremely aggressively off the dry outside edge ("snap"). It is less suited to fresh, long oil, where it runs the risk of sliding past the breakpoint, but it shines when you need to play steep angles and let the ball snap deep into the pocket.
