BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The 900 Global Reality GPT (Global Performance Technology) marks a significant technological leap within the popular Reality series. Visually, the ball comes in a striking color combination of blue, hot pink and black that jumps out on the lane and makes the ball's rotation easy to read. Under the hood, the "Disturbance A.I. Asymmetric Core" appears for the first time in the Reality series. This further development uses the patented A.I. (Amplified Inertia) outer core technology to lower the RG to 2.48 (at 15 lbs) and raise the differential to 0.054. This powerhouse is paired with the "Reserve Blend 90X Pearl Reactive" coverstock, which comes with a 1500-grit polished finish out of the box. These specs point to a ball that retains the aggressive midlane read of the original, but stores more energy for the back part of the lane and the pin deck thanks to the pearl cover and the A.I. technology.
Comparison Compared directly to the original 900 Global Reality (solid), the Reality GPT shows a noticeably later reaction. Where the original Reality bites early in the heads and produces a very round, continuous motion, the GPT uses its pearl cover to skid more cleanly through the heads. Against the "Reality Check" (hybrid), the GPT offers a lower RG thanks to the new A.I. core, which means it revs up faster despite the polished surface and feels more stable in its rotation. Compared to the "Eternity" from 900 Global, the Reality GPT reads the lane a bit earlier and looks rounder, while the Eternity often responds more angularly to friction. There are similarities to the "Harsh Reality Pearl" (US market), though the GPT should come across as a shade more aggressive in hook potential on international oil thanks to the "Reserve Blend 90X" cover. It positions itself as the ideal complement when the strong solids (like the Harsh Reality) lose energy too early or burn up.
On the Lanes The Reality GPT is made for medium to heavy oil conditions. It plays its greatest strength when the lane starts to change (transition) and pure solid balls begin to hook too early. Thanks to the A.I. core technology, it offers an exceptional carry rate, since the energy transfer to the pins has been optimized. If you have a high rev rate, you'll appreciate the control in the midlane, because the ball doesn't jump away uncontrollably but makes a strong yet predictable move to the pocket. If you have a lower rev rate, you'll benefit from the core's low RG, which helps get the ball into rotation early without sacrificing the length needed for an effective entry angle. It's the first choice for moving deeper into the lane (move left), using the friction on the outside and still keeping enough energy for a powerful drive through the pins.
