BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the Raw Hammer Acid, Hammer brings a fascinating new development to market that stands out above all for its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic Raw Hammer core, which with a 2.54 RG and a 0.042 differential ensures a very clean motion through the front sections of the lane. The pearl reactive cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The nature of the surface with a polished finish supports this characteristic massively, letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction too early. Visually the ball is a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later and sharper direction changes. The technical match between core and cover is extremely harmonious and purposeful here.
Comparison
Comparing the Raw Hammer Acid to the Brunswick Rhino, the glaring differences in backend reaction stand out immediately. The Brunswick Rhino tends to read a bit earlier, while the Raw Hammer Acid holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then reacts far more aggressively to the dry part of the lane. That characteristic makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Rhino starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls are aimed at similar lighter oil patterns, the Raw Hammer Acid offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It is the ideal solution for situations in which the Rhino no longer develops enough drive, since it generates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength once the lane has been broken in slightly and the transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction in the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which delivers maximum, explosive carry. As the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, the ball allows you to move systematically further inside and attack the pocket from a much deeper angle. It works excellently on medium to dry conditions and is an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, responsive coverstock. Thanks to its forgiving nature on shots missed to the outside, it should keep scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
