BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Brunswick Prism Warp comes in an attractive color combination of teal, purple and black and was developed as an addition to the popular Prism series. At its heart is the Portal core with an ultra-low RG and increased differential as well as intermediate differential, combined with the Activator Composite Technology A.C.T. 2.0 coverstock. The technical specifications show an RG of 2.465 with a differential of 0.051. The A.C.T. 2.0 Solid Reactive cover is finished with 500/2000 Siaair Micro Pad, which gives the ball a matte base finish. In addition, the ball features DynamiCore technology, a more durable outer material that produces less compression at impact and thereby increases hitting power.
Comparison
The Prism Warp is deliberately positioned between the Prism Solid, which due to its aggressive characteristics was only usable on high oil volumes, and the Prism Hybrid. In a direct comparison to the Brunswick Prism Solid, the Warp goes about a foot longer and shows a stronger continuous motion toward the pins. It is stronger than the Brunswick Prism Hybrid, but does not require the extreme amounts of oil the Solid does. By leaving out an additional surface step with fewer teeth beneath the final surface, the ball gets more length and better continuation. This technology sets it apart from other balls in the same category and should deliver a more balanced performance.
On the Lanes
The Prism Warp offers big hook potential and works for a wide range of bowlers, proving itself across a broader spectrum of lane conditions. It is ideal if you are looking for a true high-performance option on medium oil volumes. Its optimal window is medium to slightly heavier oil conditions, and it works especially well on average medium-oil league conditions. The ball shows its strengths particularly when the backends are still fresh at the start of the session, and it can easily hold up for several games before angle changes become necessary. As a traction ball in Brunswick's PRO category, it hooks earlier on the lane and provides more hook on oilier conditions or if you have a lower rev rate.
