BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Radical Prime Power Hitter is presented as a special release with an upgraded black design. Inside, it features the proven Hitter Asymmetric Core, which in the 15-pound version delivers an RG of 2.488, a differential of 0.053, and an asymmetric differential of 0.015. The real innovation of this ball lies in its surface: The HK22C Textured Hybrid 2.0 Cover is a direct upgrade from the previous version and comes in a 500, 1000, and 1500 Factory Compound finish. This combination of a strong asymmetric core and a technologically advanced hybrid surface suggests a ball that retains a lot of energy in the front end to generate a very defined and powerful change of direction later on.
Comparison Analysis
Comparing the Radical Prime Power Hitter to the Storm Phaze II, the massive differences in ball response become apparent. While the Storm Phaze II, with its symmetrical design and solid cover, reads the ball early on the trajectory and describes a very predictable, consistent curve, the Prime Power Hitter generates significantly more distance through its front end. The compound finish of the hybrid surface delays friction, resulting in a much more aggressive and angled response in the back end compared to Storm's benchmark reference ball. In direct comparison to the regular Radical Power Hitter, the 2.0 version of the HK22C cover is designed to offer even more traction in the mid lane without sacrificing the sharp hook at the breakpoint.
Practical Application:
On the fairway, the Radical Prime Power Hitter performs best on medium to high oil levels. It is ideal for situations where the front of the fairway is already lightly oiled, but there is still enough oil in the back to generate a strong hook. With its clean movement through the front and strong asymmetric back-end action, this ball is an excellent choice for players seeking a clean entry angle into the lane. It provides lower-turn players with the necessary support to generate sufficient carry, while high-powered players can benefit from the extreme energy release at the end of the oil pattern. Once the transition begins and you have to play at deeper angles over the rails, this ball retains enough energy to reliably drive through the pins even from this position.
