The Storm Hy-Road Pearl tends to read a bit earlier, while the Primal Impulse holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then reacts noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That trait makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Hy-Road Pearl starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat.
