First Impressions
The Storm Perfect Domination turns heads as an international heavy-hitter with its solid design. At its center works the massive asymmetric RAD+ Core, equipped with a 2.490 RG, a hefty 0.047 differential and a strong intermediate differential. This core is wrapped in a high-performance solid reactive coverstock finished with a matte surface. The low RG lets the core rev up extremely quickly, which in combination with the heavy cover should make the ball grab extremely early and produce an incredibly strong, rolling motion.
Comparison
Compared directly to the classic Storm Domination, which often features a smoother shell, the Perfect Domination shows a drastically earlier and far rounder, more controlled reaction. Compared to the Storm Alpha Crux, the Perfect Domination behaves very similarly through the midlane, but the RAD+ core gives it a somewhat more asymmetric and sharper backend motion in oil. Once the transition sets in during a block and friction increases on the outside boards, the solid surface loses energy extremely quickly.
On the Lanes
The Storm Perfect Domination was developed specifically for use on heavy oil conditions. It allows you to generate the hook needed to cross boards effectively even on extremely fresh oil. The asymmetric core should optimize carry through a steady, heavy entry angle into the pocket. For dry or dried-up conditions this ball is completely overqualified; it burns its energy up in the heads and reaches the pins weakly.
