BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the OMG! Pearl, AMF brings a fascinating new development to market that stands out above all for its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic Symmetric core, which with a 2.54 RG and a 0.042 differential ensures very clean motion through the front sections of the lane. The Pearl Reactive cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The nature of the surface with its polished finish massively supports this trait by letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually the ball is a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later, sharper direction changes. The technical match between core and cover is extremely harmonious and purposeful here.
Comparison
Comparing the OMG! Pearl with the Brunswick Rhino, the glaring differences in backend reaction stand out immediately. The Brunswick Rhino tends to read a bit earlier, while the OMG! Pearl holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then responds noticeably more aggressively to the dry part of the lane. That trait makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Rhino starts losing energy into the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls are aimed at lighter oil patterns, the OMG! Pearl offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It's the ideal solution for situations in which the Rhino no longer develops enough drive, since it generates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength when the lane has already broken down a bit and the transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction in the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which produces maximum, explosive carry. As the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, the ball lets you systematically move further inside and attack the pocket from a much deeper angle. It suits medium to dry conditions very well and is an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, responsive surface. With its forgiving nature on misses out, it should keep your scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
