Compared directly to the Storm AstroPhysiX, the Ninja Fury shows a noticeably calmer, more controlled reaction. The Storm AstroPhysiX does offer a bit more length through the first two thirds of the lane, but it lacks the outright traction the Ninja Fury builds up in the boards. On the Lanes
For practical use on the lanes, this ball is best suited to long, high-volume oil patterns. When the heads are oiled enough, it can show its full potential and delivers a continuous hook toward the pocket. The friction at the end of the oil pattern is picked up smoothly but decisively, which leads to outstanding carry. If you throw the ball fast, this is the perfect choice for hitting the pocket safely and repeatably. Should the lane dry up as the session goes on and the transition set in, it's a good idea to plan a ball change early, since it could react too soon on dry boards. It's an excellent ball for wet conditions that fully meets the demands of modern performance characteristics and should consistently produce high scores.
