First Impressions
The 900 Global Network stands out with an extremely bright Blue and Silver Solid look. Inside works the symmetrical Engine Core, which is characterized by a medium RG and a solid differential. For the surface, 900 Global relies on the S62 Solid Reactive cover, sanded to 4000 grit Abralon out of the box. These specs should make the ball start up extremely reliably and glide through the heads with a lot of confidence on oiled lanes. The cover and the core offer the perfect mix of benchmark reaction and midlane bite.
Comparison
In a direct comparison with the 900 Global All Day, the Network shows extremely similar ball motion through the heads, but delivers a marginally more consistent reaction at the breakpoint thanks to cover fine-tuning. Against the Storm IQ Tour Solid, the Network offers a comparably massive, flaring hook by virtue of its design. When transition changes the lane and dry spots appear, the matte surface keeps the ball from losing energy at the breakpoint. It hits smoothly.
On the Lanes
The 900 Global Network is most at home on medium lane conditions. It's an excellent option if you're looking for a clean and enormously massive ball motion when the lanes are freshly oiled. The symmetrical core produces a consistent angle at the breakpoint, which builds confidence when playing direct lines in the oil. The ball should secure carry through its consistent entry into the pocket. On very dry patterns, however, it can burn up right away.
