The Columbia 300 Messenger PowerCOR Pearl comes in the classic black-and-gold design that defined the Messenger line back in the early 2000s. The look combines nostalgic aesthetics with modern technology, with the HK22 coverstock base providing improved translucency and color clarity. Technically, the ball is built around the symmetrical Messenger PowerCOR core with an RG of 2.515 inches and a differential of 0.040 inches in 15 pounds. PowerCOR technology represents a further development of the legendary ceramic and titanium inserts that Columbia 300 used back in the 1990s in balls like the Messenger Titanium and the Cuda/C. The ultra-dense, proprietary PowerCOR material lowers the RG and should deliver more hitting power, and unlike earlier versions, it still allows the use of interchangeable thumb slides and deeper drill holes.
