BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the Marauder Mutiny, DV8 brings a fascinating new development to market that impresses above all with its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic Marauder core, which with a 2.524 RG and a 0.050 differential ensures very clean motion through the front part of the lane. The Class 4G Pearl cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The surface texture with its High Gloss finish supports this trait massively by letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually the ball is a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later, sharper direction changes. The technical match between core and cover is extremely harmonious and purposeful here.
Comparison
Comparing the Marauder Mutiny to the Storm Hy-Road Pearl, the glaring differences in backend reaction stand out immediately. The Storm Hy-Road Pearl tends to read a bit earlier, while the Marauder Mutiny holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then reacts noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That trait makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Hy-Road Pearl starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls are aimed at lighter oil patterns, the Marauder Mutiny offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It's the ideal solution for situations in which the Hy-Road Pearl no longer develops enough drive, since it generates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength once the lane has broken down slightly and the transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction in the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which delivers maximum, explosive carry. As the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, the ball lets you move systematically further inside and attack the pocket from a much deeper angle. It suits medium to dry conditions very well and is an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, quick-reacting surface. Thanks to its forgiving nature on misses out, it should keep your scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
