The technical heart of the ball is the Magnitude 035 Low RG Symmetric core, designed specifically to ensure a controlled and even weight distribution. With a 2.524 RG and a moderate 0.035 differential at 15 pounds, this ball promises predictable dynamics without extreme changes of direction. The core is wrapped in the Relativity Flip Pearl coverstock, finished with 500 Siaair and Crown Factory Compound. This combination produces a high-gloss surface intended to minimize friction in the heads and save energy for the back end of the lane.
Comparison Compared to the original Brunswick Magnitude 035 Solid, the Pearl version offers a noticeably longer skid phase through the heads and the midlane. It is an ideal ball for the second or third game of league play, when stronger balls already react too early or lose energy in the midlane. Its symmetrical core characteristics provide a high degree of forgiveness and a very predictable ball path, which makes it especially attractive if you value consistency over maximum aggression. On typical house shots (THS) it allows a relaxed game over the outside boards or a gentle arc from the middle. If you have lower ball speed, it is also an excellent option to keep the ball from turning over too early and to improve your carry through an optimal entry angle.
