BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The 900Global Inception Pearl, released in November 2016, brings an aggressive pearl option to the Tour Engineered series. Visually, the ball immediately stands out with its vivid pink, purple and gold color scheme, which makes a statement on the shelf as well as on the lane. Inside works the complex Adaptor/C Asymmetric Core. This core is defined by a low 2.48 RG, a high 0.055 differential and a strong 0.024 intermediate differential (at 15 lbs). These numbers guarantee a quick rev-up and enormous flare potential. This powerhouse is wrapped in the S74R Pearl coverstock, finished out of the box with a 1500 grit polish. The combination of a strong asymmetric core and a shiny cover signals maximum energy storage for the backend.
Comparison
Compared directly to the original 900Global Inception (Solid), the pearl version goes noticeably longer through the heads and saves all of its power for the change of direction at the end of the pattern. While the Solid reads the lane early and shows a rounder motion, the Inception Pearl produces a sharp, defined break at the breakpoint. Set against the Storm Code Black, popular at the same time, both balls play in the league of "asym pearl monsters." The Inception Pearl, however, often feels a touch earlier in its rotation (lower RG) and offers a somewhat heavier roll through the pins. Next to a 900Global Truth, the Inception Pearl provides considerably more dynamics and covers more boards when you play the pocket from a big angle.
On the Lanes
The Inception Pearl is made for medium to heavy oil and situations where the lane has already broken down somewhat (transition). It is the ideal choice when dull solid balls start hooking too early and losing energy. Thanks to the polished surface it glides effortlessly through the used heads, while the strong Adaptor/C core makes sure the ball does not "fall asleep" in the midlane but comes back aggressively. It allows you to move deep inside and open up the pocket wide. On dry lanes it is often "too much ball," since the core works too strongly, but on fresh house oil with a clean backend it is an absolute weapon for spectacular carry.
