The Roto Grip Hyped Super Pearl arrives in July 2024 as a version of the already successful US release Hyped Pearl optimized specifically for the Japanese market, and represents a further development within the HP2 product line. In a Black/Purple/Charcoal color scheme, the ball combines the symmetrical Hyped Core with a 2.51 RG (16 lbs) and a 0.037 differential with the VTC Pearl Reactive coverstock in Reacta Gloss finish. The Pearl formulation adapted specifically for Japan was modified with the goal of eliminating sudden changes in trajectory out of the dry area and improving adaptability for different player types. The Hyped Core was developed as the lowest RG core Roto Grip has ever offered in the HP2 line, positioning it as a bridge between the lower-performance HP1 line and the higher overall performance of the HP3 line. The VTC coverstock technology was formulated specifically for the HP1 and HP2 lines with a focus on durability and consistent performance, and should provide outstanding performance while retaining control and versatility without excessive aggressiveness.
