BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the Hype Pearl, AMF brings a fascinating new development to the market that stands out above all for its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic Hype Core, which with a 2.55 RG and a 0.038 differential ensures a very clean motion through the front sections of the lane. The Pearl Reactive cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The character of the surface with a Polished finish supports this trait massively by letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually the ball is a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later and sharper changes of direction. The technical match between core and cover is extremely harmonious and purposeful here.
Comparison
Comparing the Hype Pearl with the Brunswick Rhino, the glaring differences in backend reaction stand out right away. The Brunswick Rhino tends to read a bit earlier, while the Hype Pearl holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then responds far more aggressively to the dry area. That trait makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Rhino starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls are aimed at lighter oil patterns, the Hype Pearl offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It is the ideal solution for situations in which the Rhino no longer generates enough drive, since it creates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength once the lane has already been broken in a bit and the transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction in the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which delivers maximum, explosive carry. As the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, the ball lets you move systematically further inside and attack the pocket from a much deeper angle. It works excellently on medium to dry conditions and is an excellent choice if you are looking for a clean, responsive surface. Thanks to its forgiving nature on shots missed to the outside, it should keep your scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
