BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The 900 Global Honey Badger Intensity comes in an eye-catching pink, purple and navy color scheme and relies technically on proven components from 900 Global. In a 15-pound ball, the asymmetric Grapnel 2.0 core delivers an RG value of 2.54, a differential of 0.048 and an intermediate differential of 0.012. The S70 Solid Reactive coverstock is finished with 4000 Abralon and was specifically developed to provide a different look on heavy oil. This combination makes the ball a member of the Tour Preferred 700 series and positions it as an upper mid performance ball.
Comparison
The Honey Badger Intensity builds on the success of the 900 Global Honey Badger Revival and differs primarily in its surface treatment. While the Honey Badger Revival has a polished hybrid cover, the Intensity's S70 Solid cover offers more traction in oil. The ball uses the same Grapnel 2.0 asymmetric core as the Honey Badger Revival and pairs it with the S70 Solid cover previously used on the 900 Global Ordnance. Direct comparisons show that the 900 Global Honey Badger Claw provides the desired control on fresh lanes but loses effectiveness quickly, while the Intensity develops its strengths as the transition progresses.
On the Lanes
The Honey Badger Intensity should offer a dynamic skid/flip characteristic on heavier oil patterns. The Grapnel 2.0 core glides effortlessly through the heads and then changes direction sharply. Unlike most heavy oil balls with lower RG values for early rotation, this ball takes a different approach. The combination of core, coverstock and surface finish tends to bring the ball into its own especially during the transition. Strokers can work with small swings, with the asymmetric core building up and the 4000 surface reading the midlane for a smooth arc. The ball is particularly suited to league nights when the lane needs to be opened up after the first transition has set in. If you have a higher rev rate, you'll benefit from the controlled aggressiveness, while the unique shape can produce surprises on fresh patterns.

Der HB Intensity war mein erster Asymmetrischer Bowling Ball. Für mich lief er recht gut im parallelen Spielen, gerade weil meine Spielweise zu dem Zeitpunkt auch eher darauf ausgelegt war.
