The Radical Guru shows up in a bold Black Solid color combination. The heart of this model is the asymmetric Guru Core, which features a low RG of 2.501, a massive differential of 0.052 and an intermediate differential of 0.018. The shell is an extremely tacky solid reactive coverstock, finished out of the box at 500 and 1500 Siaair. Comparison
Compared to the Radical Guru Supreme, the original Guru grabs just a little softer, but offers a far more stable, steadier reaction at the breakpoint. Against the Storm Crux, the Guru generates a hard-hitting asymmetric motion in heavy oil that turns over brutally into the backend. As soon as the transition sets in and the front part of the lane dries out, the Guru burns up energy quickly because of its rough surface. It demands enough oil on the boards.
On the Lanes
The Radical Guru's preferred territory is heavily oiled lane conditions. It's the perfect choice if you need a ball on fresh patterns that grabs hard in the midlane and produces a steady hook toward the pocket. The dependable reaction helps you avoid missing the breakpoint even with massive volume. The ball should maximize carry through its brutal drive. On dried-up lanes, however, this ball is far too aggressive and hard to control.
