The Hammer Fugitive Solid comes in an eye-catching color combination of blue, orange and black. With an RG of 2.486 and a differential of 0.052 at 15 pounds, this ball clearly sits in the mid-performance segment. At its heart is the symmetrical Fugitive Core with low RG and high differential, combined with an orange inner core and a carbon-fiber-reinforced outer shell for added durability. The cover is the reactive Juiced Solid coverstock with a stock preparation of 500/2000 Siaair Micro Pad, which promises a powerful overall reaction.
Comparison
Compared directly to the Hammer Fugitive Pearl, the Solid shows similar hook characteristics, though its matte surface makes it read the lane earlier and react less aggressively in the backend. Its ball motion positions it as a stronger version of the well-known Hammer Vibe Orange and at the same time as a ball-down option to stronger pieces like the Hammer Redemption Solid or Web Tour. Particularly noticeable is its continuous motion compared to other mid-performance balls, which often stand up too hard in the friction. The Fugitive Solid is designed for medium to heavy oil conditions and should suit the vast majority of bowlers.
