Visually, the model stands out with a deep blue color scheme and a high-gloss polished surface typical of polyester balls in this segment. Technically, the ball is based on a classic polyester coverstock construction designed for minimal friction on the lane. Inside sits a simple pancake core that gives the ball a high degree of stability without forcing any notable motion of its own. The technical specifications list an RG of roughly 2.69 and a very low differential of about 0.006. These numbers underline the ball's purpose as an extremely straight roller, since the cover generates almost no friction with the lane surface.
Comparison
Within the market, the ProBowl Fox blue is best compared to other established polyester balls such as the Columbia 300 White Dot or the Brunswick T-Zone. While high-performance balls like the Storm Phaze II look for a strong change of direction in the backend with their reactive shells and asymmetric cores, the ProBowl Fox blue remains virtually unaffected by oil patterns. Compared directly to the Ebonite Maxim, it shows identical ball motion, characterized by maximum control and a predictable path.
