BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Storm Eternal Domination, a sought-after international release from November 2018, brings one of the most legendary core shapes back to the lanes. Visually, the ball stands out with its dynamic color combination of silver, purple, and orange. Inside works the famous RAD+ Core (Radial Accelerating Disc), an asymmetric core with a 2.49 RG and a 0.047 differential (at 15 lbs), known for its extremely fast rotation and strong change of direction. This powerhouse is wrapped in the R3X Pearl Reactive coverstock. Unlike the weaker R2S shells, the R3X material provides more traction in oil, while the factory 1500-grit polish still allows clean skid through the heads. The result is a ball that offers length but shows considerably more midlane presence than classic pearl balls.
Comparison
In a direct comparison with the extremely popular Storm Code Black, the Eternal Domination feels somewhat "heavier" on the lane. While the Code Black skids extremely long with its R2S shell and almost "flips" at the breakpoint, the Eternal Domination reads the midlane earlier thanks to the R3X shell and offers a more controlled but still very strong arc in the backend. Compared to the original Storm Domination (Solid), this pearl version is logically cleaner through the heads and stores more energy for the hit. Its reaction is very similar to the Storm Intense, but the RAD+ core gives it a somewhat quicker transition from skid into hook.
On the Lanes
The Eternal Domination is an excellent choice for medium to heavy oil patterns once the lane starts to open up. When pure solid balls burn up energy too early, but weaker pearls like the Hy-Road still don't offer enough traction, this ball fills the gap. It lets you play deeper angles and swing the ball well out to the right (for right-handers), since the asymmetric core is strong enough to come back reliably even with plenty of oil in the middle. The R3X pearl shell provides enough security not to slide through the oil ("skid-snap"), instead creating a trustworthy motion that covers up release mistakes well and delivers excellent carry.
