Head to head with the Storm Proton Physix, the EPX T1 shows a noticeably calmer and more controlled reaction. Where other asymmetric models often respond too aggressively to the transition, this ball maintains a consistently predictable path. The Storm Proton Physix does offer a bit more length through the first two thirds of the lane, but it lacks the sheer traction the EPX T1 builds up in the boards. If you throw the ball fast, this is the perfect choice for hitting the pocket safely and repeatably. If the lane dries up as play goes on and the transition sets in, it's worth planning a ball change early, since it could react too soon on dry boards.
