First Impressions
The Storm Entire Domination steps up as an international heavy hitter with its solid design. At the center works the massive asymmetric RAD+ core, equipped with a 2.490 RG, a substantial 0.047 differential and a strong intermediate differential. This core is wrapped in a high-performance solid reactive coverstock finished with a matte surface. The low RG lets the core rev up extremely quickly, which in combination with the heavy cover should make the ball grab extremely early and produce an incredibly strong, rolling motion.
Comparison
Compared directly with the classic Storm Domination, which often comes with a smoother cover, the Entire Domination shows a drastically earlier and far rounder, more controlled reaction. Compared with the Storm Alpha Crux, the Entire Domination behaves very similarly in the midlane, but offers a somewhat more asymmetric backend motion in oil thanks to the RAD+ core. Once the transition sets in during a block and friction on the outside boards increases, the solid surface loses energy extremely quickly.
On the Lanes
The Storm Entire Domination was developed specifically for use on heavy oil lane conditions. It allows bowlers to generate the hook they need even on extremely fresh oil in order to cross the boards effectively. The asymmetric core should optimize carry through a steady, heavy entry angle into the pocket. For dry or dried-up conditions this ball is completely overqualified; it burns up its energy in the heads and reaches the pins only weakly.
