The Columbia 300 Dynamic Swing shows up in an attractive color scheme of black, caramel and white, and the striking look already hints at the performance of this asymmetric ball. At its heart sits the modified Full Swing core, which comes with medium RG numbers of 2.482 at 15 pounds and a 0.047 differential. The medium to high flare potential is backed up by an intermediate differential of 0.012. The ERT Hybrid coverstock is finished out of the box with 500/2000 Siaair Micro Pad and deliberately left dull to ensure optimal traction on medium to heavy oil conditions.
Comparison
Compared to the Columbia 300 Baller series, the Dynamic Swing shares the same ERT Hybrid coverstock, though it comes out of a different manufacturing facility. The core construction follows the Pure Swing from 2010, but with lower RG and differential numbers. Particularly noteworthy is the motion characteristic, which is more reminiscent of the Momentum Swing than of the Pure Swing or Full Swing models. Against the Columbia 300 Baller, the Dynamic Swing lets you start three boards farther left and offers a slightly smoother breakpoint. The addition to the Columbia 300 Authority line is a deliberate choice, since the medium asymmetric numbers and the hybrid cover complement the Authority Solid and the original Authority perfectly.

The Dynamic Swing should prove itself as a versatile benchmark ball for medium to heavy oil conditions. The coarse 500/2000 SiaAir surface helps generate plenty of midlane traction, while the design should allow for a strong midlane reaction and backend motion.
