First Impressions
The 900 Global Dream Tour turns every head with its deep black and red solid design. At its center works the massive asymmetric Identity core, which shows a 2.480 RG, a strong 0.054 differential and a 0.024 intermediate differential. This core is wrapped in the Identity Solid Reactive coverstock, finished with a dull 4000 grit surface. The extremely low RG lets the core rev up quickly, which in combination with the coarse cover should make the ball get into a roll early with no effort and generate a very massive asymmetric motion.
Comparison
Compared directly to the 900 Global Dream Big, the Dream Tour grabs a bit softer, but offers a considerably more agile, rounder reaction at the breakpoint. Against the Storm Alpha Crux, the Dream Tour behaves very similarly on wet lanes and delivers a hefty hook. As soon as the transition sets in and the front part of the lane dries up, this ball burns up its energy in the heads. It wants fresh oil to unload its dynamics into the pins.
On the Lanes
The 900 Global Dream Tour is most at home on heavy lane conditions. It is an excellent option if you need a ball on fresh patterns that won't skid through the heads but instead generates a steady, massive hook toward the pocket. The early reaction helps secure the breakpoint. The ball should secure carry through its massive drive. On dried-up oil, though, it won't skid and it starves.
