BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the Clash Blue/Yellow, Ebonite brings a fascinating new development to the market that stands out above all for its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic Symmetric core, which with a 2.54 RG and a 0.040 differential ensures a very clean motion through the front part of the lane. The pearl reactive cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The surface, with a polished finish, massively supports this trait by letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually the ball is a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later, sharper direction changes. The technical match between core and cover has been achieved in a highly harmonious and purposeful way here.
Comparison
Comparing the Clash Blue/Yellow with the Storm Tropical Surge, the glaring differences in backend reaction are immediately apparent. The Storm Tropical Surge tends to read a bit earlier, while the Clash Blue/Yellow holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then responds noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That trait makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Tropical Surge starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls are aimed at lighter oil patterns, the Clash Blue/Yellow offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It is the ideal solution for situations in which the Tropical Surge no longer develops enough drive, since it generates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength once the lane has been played in a bit and the transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction in the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which delivers maximum, explosive carry. As the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, the ball lets you move systematically further inside and attack the pocket from a much deeper angle. It is very well suited to medium to dry conditions and an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, quick-responding surface. With its forgiving nature on shots missed to the outside, it should keep your scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
