BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The 900 Global Burner Pearl comes in an eye-catching Amethyst/Red color combination and belongs to the reworked 600 series from 900 Global. The S62 Pearl Reactive coverstock comes with a 1500 grit polished surface, while the new Centroid Symmetric core delivers a 2.53 RG and a 0.037 differential. The Centroid core is meant to solve a problem many balls in the value performance category struggle with: lower density. By shifting weight toward the center of the ball, the over/under reactions that plague many balls in this category have been eliminated. These specs promise a predictable ball reaction for bowlers of all skill levels. Comparison
Compared to other balls in its price range, the Burner Pearl shows noticeably more performance than expected. The Burner series seems to fill a gap between the Storm Hustle line and the Roto Grip IQ line, with the Burner Pearl offering a bit more angle than the IQs and Hustles and fitting perfectly in the middle of that lineup. A comparison to the Storm Hustle INK shows the Burner Solid coming in as a close second, which gives the pearl counterpart a correspondingly important spot in the arsenal. While the Burner Solid provides a very continuous ball motion, the Burner Pearl should be a great option for moving further inside and opening up the angles. On the Lanes
The Burner Pearl was developed specifically for medium to light oil conditions and shows its strengths especially on dry lanes or older surfaces, where it runs cleanly through the heads and still reads the midlane and drives well through the pins. As a pearl option for drier lane conditions, it's a perfect fit when you need a clean option to stand on the friction and use your ball speed, or when you have to play deep inside. The S62 Pearl cover makes the Burner Pearl an excellent choice if you're a speed-dominant bowler with a low rev rate struggling on conditions that seem to have become unplayable. The pearl version of the Burner is ideal when you need something that goes long and stays controllable without getting super skid-flip, and it can be used as the first ball out of the bag to get a true read on the lane.
