The Radical Bonus uses a symmetrical core with a low 2.487 RG (15 lbs) and a low 0.030 differential. The ball combines the Forged Reactive coverstock with the Bonus Symmetric core and DynamiCore technology. The factory surface is a 500, 2000 Siaair treatment. Visually, the Bonus shows up as a classic Radical design in the brand's traditional colors. The Bonus is described as Radical's version of proven control balls like the Motiv Venom Shock, Storm IQ Tour Nano Pearl or Roto Grip Web Pearl. The formula combines a low RG, low differential control core with a medium to strong surface, similar to the Motiv Web Tour or Hammer Venom Shock, using a noticeably stronger surface than the core. The ball motion should be stronger than that of the Radical Intel, but more controllable than other balls in Radical's Reliable price class. This ball motion should be a must for league and tournament players. If you have a higher rev rate, you can play it more direct when there is enough oil volume, while lower rev rates can use it on medium or lighter oil volumes. The ball offers an immensely usable and reliable control motion that does not hook excessively and allows a nice smooth, trustworthy movement when there is enough volume to play a bit more direct. It is less suited to lighter volumes and short oil patterns, where balls with higher RG and lower differential like a Bonus Solid or Counter Attack would be the better choice. The Bonus positions itself as a versatile benchmark ball for medium lane conditions and offers a good balance between control and backend performance for a wide range of player types.
