BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Columbia 300 Blur Pearl impresses with an extremely bright pink and purple pearl look. Inside works the symmetric Blur core, distinguished by a 2.560 RG and a moderate 0.031 differential. For the surface, Columbia 300 relies on the Pearl Reactive cover, polished to a high gloss out of the box. These specs should make the ball start up extremely late and glide extremely safely through the heads on dry lanes. The cover and the core offer the perfect mix of benchmark length and moderate hook.

Comparison
Compared directly to the Columbia 300 Blur Solid, the pearl version shows an extremely longer ball motion through the heads, but delivers a minimally more angular reaction at the breakpoint thanks to its cover. Next to the Storm Tropical Pearl, the Blur Pearl offers a comparably moderate, flat hook due to its design. When the transition changes the lane and dry spots appear, the smooth surface keeps the ball from losing energy at the breakpoint. It hits softly.

On the Lanes
The Columbia 300 Blur Pearl is most at home on dry lane conditions. It is an outstanding option if you are looking for a clean and late ball motion once the lanes have dried up. The symmetric core creates a clean angle at the breakpoint, which builds confidence when playing direct lines. The ball should secure carry through a steady entry into the pocket. On very wet patterns, however, it can fizzle out immediately.
