BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the Attention Grip, Roto Grip brings a fascinating new development to market, one that stands out above all for its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic Attention Core, which with a 2.53 RG and a 0.042 differential ensures a very clean motion through the front sections of the lane. The pearl reactive cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The character of the surface, with a 1500-grit polished finish, supports this property massively by letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually it's a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later and sharper changes of direction. The technical match between core and cover is extremely harmonious and purposeful here.
Comparison
Comparing the Attention Grip to the Storm Hy-Road Pearl, the striking differences in backend reaction stand out immediately. The Storm Hy-Road Pearl tends to read a bit earlier, while the Attention Grip holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then responds noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That property makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Hy-Road Pearl starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls are aimed at lighter oil patterns in a similar way, this ball offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It's the ideal solution for situations where the Hy-Road Pearl no longer develops enough drive, because it generates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength when the lane has already been played on a bit and the transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction in the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which delivers maximum, explosive carry. When the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, it lets you systematically move further inside and attack the pocket from a much deeper angle. It works excellently on medium to dry conditions and is an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, responsive surface. Thanks to its forgiving nature on shots missed outside, it should keep your scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
