BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Roto Grip Attention Black/Pink, often referred to as the Attention B/P in the international market, is an exclusive overseas release that immediately catches the eye with its color combination of Black and Peony Pink. At the heart of this asymmetrical bowling ball operates the proven Momentous Asymmetric core. In the fifteen-pound version, this engine delivers an RG of 2.50, a differential of 0.053, and a mass bias of 0.011. These specifications indicate strong rotational capability and pronounced flare potential. The core is wrapped in the V-R1 Pearl Reactive coverstock. The factory finish features a 1500-grit polish. This glossy surface is designed to ensure that the ball glides extremely smoothly through the Front of the lane before unleashing its stored energy later down the lane.
Comparative Analysis Placing the Attention Black/Pink alongside established benchmark models highlights its specialized nature. In a direct comparison to the Storm Phaze II, which is known for its early traction and very smooth arcing motion due to its solid cover, this overseas ball behaves completely differently. While the Storm Phaze II seeks Friction early on the lane, the Attention Black/Pink delays its reaction significantly thanks to its pearl cover and polished finish. When compared to the Roto Grip Attention Star, which also utilizes a pearl cover, the Attention B/P provides a potentially sharper change of direction due to its specific V-R1 cover formulation. When strong solid balls burn up too early on drier conditions, the Attention Black/Pink effectively retains its power for the pin deck.
Practical Application On the lanes, the Attention Black/Pink presents itself as an excellent option for bowlers looking for an asymmetrical solution for lanes with high Friction or broken-down conditions. When the Front begins to dry out and dull balls react too early, the polished pearl surface allows this ball to maintain the necessary length. The Transition in the backend is expected to be very dynamic due to the Momentous core. The ball is designed to make a sharp move toward the pocket to generate an optimal entry angle. This late but highly aggressive Hook is meant to help players maintain Carry even as they are forced to move further inside during a tournament or league session. It is not designed for very heavy oil, but fully maximizes its strengths on regular house shots.
