First Impressions
The 900 Global Aspect comes in an attractive blue, steel and orange color scheme and, as the first ball in the revamped Prime 800 series, brings new technology along with it. The Aspect is built around the new Reflector Symmetric Core, which carries a medium RG of 2.51 inches and a medium to high differential of 0.048. The newly developed S77 Response Solid Reactive coverstock is finished at 3000 grit and should provide controllability on medium to heavy lane conditions. The base material is similar to the S74R cover, but produces more pronounced peaks and valleys under the microscope and should offer more friction than its predecessor.
Comparison
In terms of reaction, the Aspect is most comparable to the 900 Global Eon Infinite. In testing on heavy oil patterns, the Aspect proved to be the best ball of the five new 900 Global releases, which underscores its strength on demanding conditions. The Reflector core uses two asymmetric halves that merge into a symmetric core, which should create an incredibly strong yet stable reaction all the way down the lane.
