First Impressions
The 900 Global All Night turns heads with its classy black and silver pearl design. At its center sits the symmetrical Clockwork core, which comes with a high 2.550 RG and a moderate 0.040 differential. This core is wrapped in a polished S43 Pearl Reactive coverstock finished to a high gloss. The high RG makes the core rotate extremely late, which in combination with the smooth cover should let the ball glide through the heads effortlessly and produce an incredibly late, snappy move in the backend.
Comparison
Compared directly to typical symmetrical balls like the Storm Match Pearl, the All Night shows a drastically longer skid phase and a far more angular reaction at the breakpoint. Compared to the 900 Global All In, the All Night behaves very similarly. Once transition sets in during a block, the pearl shell stores energy ideally. It is enormously strong from open angles and on dry lanes.
On the Lanes
The 900 Global All Night was developed for use on lighter lane conditions. It lets you generate the hook you need even on dried-up conditions to cross the boards effectively from deep inside. The symmetrical core should optimize carry through a steady entry angle into the pocket. On extremely heavy oil, however, this ball is often too slick; it doesn't use up its energy properly in the heads.
