BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Ebonite Aero comes in a Navy/Sky/Red look and presents itself as a premium high-performance ball developed specifically for use on fresh and oily conditions. Ebonite gave the bowling community a strong asymmetric ball with the Aero in October 2020, filling a gap at the top of the Ebonite line. The asymmetric Aero core with the innovative DOT Technology offers a 2.504 RG for 15# balls and a 0.050 differential. The GSV-X Solid Reactive surface ships with a 500, 1000 Siaair Micro Pad finish and should deliver an aggressive reaction on high oil volume.
Comparison
The Aero fills a gap for Ebonite by providing a more aggressive ball for more substantial oil volumes compared to the rest of the line. The Aero's core, cover and finish are stronger than the Omni's, and it will be an excellent first ball out of the bag to take on fresh conditions and oil. In the strength hierarchy, the ball sits above the Ebonite Omni and slots just above the Hammer Fugitive Solid. For speed-dominant players, the Aero can be placed a step below a Hammer Redemption Solid or a Brunswick Prism Warp, thanks to the slightly weaker core. The core is a bit weaker than the average big asymmetric ball, which gives it more usability.
On the Lanes
The Ebonite Aero is a high-performance ball designed to be a bowler's first ball out of the bag when the lanes are at their freshest and oiliest. This ball was developed to be more aggressive on higher oil volumes by pairing the Aero core with the GSV-X Solid Reactive coverstock and finishing it at 500 then 1000 Siaair Micro Pad. The result of this core and cover combination is a strong midlane reaction followed by a strong backend reaction. The ball is particularly well suited if you're looking for a dependable asymmetric option, since it offers a surprising amount of continuation along with that angularity. Unlike many asymmetric balls, which are often twitchy and uncontrollable at the breakpoint, that was not the case with the Aero. Rev-dominant bowlers looking to add a solid asymmetric bowling ball to their arsenal will enjoy the Aero. It's a highly usable asymmetric bowling ball that can handle both a dull and a polished finish. It offers continuation through the pins, far more than the average asymmetric ball.
