First Impressions
The Hammer Absolut Flip turns heads with its striking blue and silver pearl design. At its center works the massive asymmetric Fat Boy core, which shows a 2.480 RG, a strong 0.050 differential and an intermediate differential. This core is wrapped in the H-145 Pearl Reactive coverstock, finished to a high gloss. The low RG lets the core rotate securely, which in combination with the smooth cover should let the ball glide very safely through the heads and produce a very angular asymmetric motion.

Comparison
Compared directly to strong solid balls, the Absolut Flip grabs extremely late and offers a considerably more agile, more angular reaction at the breakpoint. Against the Storm Snap Lock, the Absolut Flip behaves very similarly on dried-up lanes and delivers a hefty hook. As soon as the transition sets in and the front part of the lane dries up, this ball is in its element. It wants dry boards at the breakpoint in order to unload its front-end dynamics massively into the pins.

On the Lanes
The Hammer Absolut Flip finds its preferred use on medium to slightly heavy lane conditions. It is the perfect choice if you need a ball on broken-down patterns that slides easily through the heads and generates a steady, massive hook toward the pocket. The late reaction helps attack the breakpoint from deep angles. The ball should secure carry at high angles. On extremely fresh oil, however, it often slides too far.
