Head to head with the Storm Proton Physix, the 910A shows a noticeably calmer and more controlled reaction. Where other asymmetric models often respond too aggressively to the transition, this ball maintains a consistently predictable path. The Storm Proton Physix does offer a bit more length through the first two thirds of the lane, but it lacks the sheer traction the 910A builds up through the boards. When the heads carry enough oil, it can show its full potential and delivers a continuous hook toward the pocket. The friction at the end of the oil pattern is picked up smoothly but decisively, which leads to outstanding carry. If you throw the ball fast, this is the perfect choice for hitting the pocket safely and repeatably. Should the lane dry up as the session goes on and the transition set in, it's a good idea to plan a ball change early, since it could react too soon on dry boards.
