BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the Honey Badger Ruddy, 900 Global brings a fascinating new development to market, one that stands out above all for its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic Badger Core, which with a 2.53 RG and a 0.048 differential ensures a very clean motion through the front part of the lane. The pearl reactive cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The character of the surface with its 1500-grit polished finish massively supports this trait by letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually it's a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later, sharper changes of direction. The technical match between core and cover is extremely harmonious and purposeful here.
Comparison
Comparing the Honey Badger Ruddy with the Storm Tropical Surge, the glaring differences in backend reaction stand out immediately. The Storm Tropical Surge tends to read slightly earlier, while the Honey Badger Ruddy holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then reacts noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That trait makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Tropical Surge starts to lose energy in the pocket or enters too flat. Although both balls are aimed at lighter oil patterns, the Honey Badger Ruddy offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It's the ideal solution for situations in which the Tropical Surge no longer generates enough drive, since it creates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength once the lane has already been played on a bit and the transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction in the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which delivers maximum, explosive carry. As the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, it allows you to systematically move further inside and attack the pocket from a much deeper angle. It suits medium to dry conditions very well and is an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, responsive surface. Thanks to its forgiving nature on misses to the outside, it should keep your scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
