The Brunswick Alert comes in a striking color scheme of black, purple and wine red that shows off the HK22 coverstock technology with its improved translucency to impressive effect. As the first release in a new product series, the Alert marks an interesting turning point in the Brunswick lineup. The ball uses an all-new symmetrical Alert core with a low RG of 2.478 (15 lbs) and a medium differential of 0.037, which places it in the category of controlled, predictable ball reactions. The HK22 Savvy Hook Solid cover has been given a three-step Siaair finish (500/1000/2000), representing a balanced position between a matte and a polished surface. Brunswick also relies on DynamiCore technology in the outer core area, which should provide improved durability and optimized energy transfer at impact. With its performance index rating of 80 and its classification as a "High Performance All Purpose" ball, the Alert positions itself in the upper performance segment for medium oil conditions.
